This table uses only bulk prices that were visible on supplier or retailer pages when checked. It does not reuse the bagged-mulch price snapshot from the bag-count page. Bagged mulch can still be compared with the same math: divide the bag price by the cubic feet printed on the bag.

What the price means before you buy
A low per-yard number is not automatically the lowest delivered cost. Some suppliers price the mulch itself by the cubic yard, then add delivery at checkout. Others show a delivered price but require a minimum order. That is why the table separates the price basis from the cubic-foot math.
For a quick bag comparison, do not compare one bag against one cubic yard. Convert both to cubic feet. A $4.00 bag that contains 2 cubic feet costs $2.00 per cubic foot, which is the same as $54.00 per cubic yard before tax or delivery. A $45.00 bulk yard is $1.67 per cubic foot before delivery.

The simple way to read a yard price
If you only need a rough budget, start with the product-level range above and then ask one local question: is delivery already included? If delivery is separate, add the delivery fee before comparing it with bagged mulch. If there is a minimum order, divide the total cart cost by the number of cubic yards you actually receive.
